Verify the download
Each ZIP ships with a matching .sha256 file. Check it in PowerShell:

certutil -hashfile LibrarySearch-AD24-0.6.1-dev.8.zip SHA256The output must exactly match the value on the card above (or in the .sha256 file). A matching hash only proves the file is unchanged since release; it is not an author identity attestation.
Install steps
Save and exit AD
Save all projects and fully exit Altium Designer. The installer never force-closes AD.
Extract the package fully
Extract the ZIP to any folder. Do not run scripts from inside the ZIP.
Run Install.cmd
Double-click Install.cmd and allow writes to the AD directory when Windows asks. If no or multiple AD installs are found, pick the X2.exe of the target installation.
Restart AD and open the panel via Panels → LibrarySearch at the bottom right. Uninstall or roll back with Uninstall.cmd from the package — downloaded component libraries are never deleted.

Older versions
Only the latest version is distributed here. dev.1 through dev.7 were same-day development iterations whose changes are all included in dev.8; if you genuinely need an older package (e.g. to reproduce an issue), contact the maintainer through your feedback channel.
